Die Cuttin' Divas #400 Holiday Challenge

Hi guys! I hope everyone is doing well and Welcome back for another DCD challenge.

This weeks challenge #400 over at Die Cuttin' Divas  is Holiday

and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

For my project I made some Disney characters to add to my Christmas tree. I used Cricut Mickey and Friends Holiday Cheer cartridge for Goofy, Mickey Minnie and Pluto. For Daisy and Donald I used Cricut Mickey and Friends cartridge.

I cut the base of the die cut four extra times so that the die cut could be firm.

The firmness helped it stay better on the tree. I also only cut half of the die cut.

The hat I found at Walmart for $5.00 and although it didn't look good on me it turned out great for my tree.

Thank you for stopping by today and don't forget to stop by the Die Cuttin' Divas Blog to check out the rest of the design teams Holiday projects.

For this challenge you'll have two weeks to play along.

May you and your family have a beautiful time together these next coming days.

and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

For my project I decided to make some festive mugs using Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon "Mug Gift Card Hilder cutting file. I made two changes to it, I put the holly tonthe side of the mug so that I could stamp the sentiment in the center. I also added some Lime Green and Xmas Red stickles to the holly. Next I added Mickey ears and a bow to one of the mugs so that I could have a Mickey mug and a Minnie mug. The bow is from the Cricut Tsum Tsum cartridge. I totally love how it turned out.

Die Cuttin' Divas #397 Tags Challenge

Hi guys! I hope everyone is doing well and Welcome back for another DCD challenge.

This weeks challenge #397 over at Die Cuttin' Divas is Tags

and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

For this challenge I made some Mickey and Minnie tags to go along with my Disney Christmas wrapping paper. I found these tags on the Cricut Mickey Font cartridges (#M3C76B) but it was just a pain Mickey so I dressed them up a little. For Mickey I used the bottom layer from a Mickey head image I found on Cricut Mickey and Friends (#M3B23F) and cut it out in black for he's pant's and I got the buttons for his pants from a border image on Cricut Mickey and Friends cartridges (#M44D45).
For Minnie I just added a bow which I got from Cricut Tsum Tsum cartridge (M282EF51) and added yellow stickles to the yellow bows and Star Dust stickles to the white bow, I did the same to Mickey's buttons.
The Merry Christmas sentiment that's in the middle is from Pink By Design "Joyful Tags" stamp set and the Enjoy the Magic of the Holiday stamp set is from Pink By Design "Christmas Wishes" stamp set. The Merry Christmas sentiment that's on the bottom of the two ends is from My Creative Time "Teeny Tag Holidays" stamp set.

Hi guys! I hope everyone is doing well and Welcome back for another DCD challenge.

This weeks challenge #396 over at Die Cuttin' Divas is Thanksgiving or Thanks

and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

For this challenge I made a Minnie Mouse shape card as well as a 5X5 card. I got the Mickey shape head from Cricut Disney Font cartridge  and cut it out in fall paper. The bow is from the Cricut Tsum Tsum cartridge and I removed the circle/dots from it because I didn't want it to take away from the fall printed paper.  Inked the Mickey shape head with Tim Holtz Tea Dye and Walnut Stain distress ink. For the bow I inked it with Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalde distress ink. The yellow printed paper was inked with Tim Holtz Fossilized Amber distress ink. The "So very" and "for you" I stamped with My Creative Time "Alpha Pack" and the thankful is from a google image that I made into a cut file in Cricut Design Space.

Die Cuttin' Divas #395 Birthday Celebrations Challenge

Hi guys! I hope everyone is doing well and Welcome back for another DCD challenge.

This weeks challenge #395 over at Die Cuttin' Divas is Birthday Celebrations

and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

I started with an A2 size card and trimmed one inch off the top half of the card base than used a corner punch to round the other half of the card base. The chevron printed paper is from The Paper Studio "Happy Birthday To You SIR!" paper pad and I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Mermaid Lagoon distress ink. The balloons and the Happy Birthday are cut out from Spellbinders "Layered Happy Birthday" die set. I inked the balloons with Tim Holtz Festive Berries distress ink. For the Happy Birthday die cut I covered it with Versa Mark ink than applied Gold Tinsel embossing powder. The tiny stars are from My Creative Time "4X4" Journal Die + More set.

I made a pocket holder to hold cash and added a circle to the life side for some journaling .  I really love the way this came out and I think it would make a card New Years Birthday card.

Hi guys! I hope everyone is doing well and Welcome back for another DCD challenge.

This weeks challenge #393 over at Die Cuttin' Divas is Anything Goes
and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

I decided to make a Mickey Birthday card for this challenge. I found this super cool card base on the Cricut "Birthday Bash" cartridge and added two more layers of starts to the main star and cut some smaller ones out to use as embellishments. I also added some yellow Stickles to the yellow starts. The super happy Mickey Mouse is form Cricut "Mickey and Friends" cartridge.

I think the layer starts with Mickey Mouse would be perfect for a scrapbook page.

I also added two layers of starts to the inside.

Die Cuttin' Divas #392 Halloween Challenge

Welcome back for another DCD challenge and I hope everyone is doing well.

This weeks challenge #392 over at Die Cuttin' Divas is Halloween
and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

For this weeks challenge I made two treat holders using the Cricut "Slumber Party" cartridge. I found the "Skeleton Pumpkin" cut file over at Miss Kate Cuttables. Since I wanted to give a treat bag to my husband and my daughter I thought it would fun to change the face on the pumpkin of my daughters treat bag. I googled Sally color pages and was lucking to find a color page that worked great with the pumpkin cut and thankfully I was able to get it to work in the Cricut Design Space (still learning how to use it). The pattern paper is from "DCWV" The Fall Stack paper pad. I used Tim Holtz Hickory Smoke and Wilted Violet Distress ink on the treat holders and Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade Distress ink on the pumpkins. Both sentiments are from My Creative Time "Teeny Tag Holidays" stamp set. The little bats are from Martha Stewart EEEK/Bat punch.
I really love the way they turned out

I used Tim Holtz Tea Dye & Ground Espresso Distress ink on the Mickey donut and the tiny little hearts are from my stash.

For this card I use the same Mickey Donut SVG Cutting Files "Sweets for my Sweet" blog hop back in February 2015 and made it into a shape card. I used Tim Holtz Tea Dye and Ground Espresso Distress ink.
