For this sketch challenge I decided to make a Disney theme Birthday card. The card base is an A2 size and I used Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder on the square and oval white pieces. I cut the oval from Cricut Scallop Accent cartridge. The adorable little Minnie Cupcake is from an old 2015 SVG Cutting Files Facebook galleria. I inked the bottom of the cupcake with Tim Holtz Mustard Sees distress ink and the top of the cupcake with Time holtz Candied Apple and Carved Pumpkin distress ink. For the little bow I  added Xmas stickles to it and for the little Mickey shape heads are cut from Cricut "Mickey and Friends" cartridge and I added some yellow stickles to them. The sentiment is from Pink By Design Inner Princess stamp set.

Die Cuttin' Divas #393 Anything Goes Challenge

Hi guys! I hope everyone is doing well and Welcome back for another DCD challenge.

This weeks challenge #393 over at Die Cuttin' Divas is Anything Goes
and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

I decided to make a Mickey Birthday card for this challenge. I found this super cool card base on the Cricut "Birthday Bash" cartridge and added two more layers of starts to the main star and cut some smaller ones out to use as embellishments. I also added some yellow Stickles to the yellow starts. The super happy Mickey Mouse is form Cricut "Mickey and Friends" cartridge.

I think the layer starts with Mickey Mouse would be perfect for a scrapbook page.

I also added two layers of starts to the inside.

Die Cuttin' Divas What Makes You Happy challenge #384

This weeks challenge #384 over at Die Cuttin' Divas is What Makes You Happy
and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

Two things that I love are Disney and Christmas so I decided to make a Christmas card representing both. The Christmas tree is from Cricut Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridges and the Mickey heads are Cricut Mickey and Friends Cartridges. I inked the tree with Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn Distress ink and the base of the tree with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain  Distress ink. I added yellow, star dust and xmas red stickles to add a little bing. I really love the way the stickles make the card pop and I'm also thinking that this design will be my Christmas cards for this year.

Don't forget you have until Monday September 3rd to play along.

Guest Designer for Die Cuttin Diva's

Good Morning everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well. Today I'm so excited to share that I'm the guest designer at Die Cuttin Diva's! This week the challenge is " Red, White and Blue".

For my project I used the Cricut Disney Mickey Font cartridge. I cut out  Donald Duck and Daisy Duck at 3.60 Height and inked up the edges before glue together. The sentiment is from Pink By Design's Red, White and Blue stamp set.

The marshmallow sticks where super fun and easy to make. I used kabob skewers and then melted Wilton's Candy Melts. I used red candy melts and white candy melts, but I colored the white ones blue. I layed the marshmallow sticks on wax paper, and with a fork drizzled the chocolate over the marshmallows. Next time I'll add a little chocolate in between each marshmallow because towards the end they were sliding down.

Thank You Die Cuttin Diva's for having me as a Guest Designer this week.

Thank You for stopping by and don't forget to play along in the challenge over at  Die Cuttin Diva's.

Pink by Design "Red, White & Blue" stamp set
Tim Holtz Festive Berries Distress ink
