"My name is Kim Zapalac and I am a Creative Memories Consultant. I am blessed to be part of a great scrapbooking/crafting group on Facebook. While surfing thru my FB page tonight, I ran across a special post on my wall. It was a song and picture of a little fella named “Tripp”. He seems to be the most amazing little boy and his Mom has to be one of the bravest woman in the world. Her faith is strong and her love is pure. Reading about Tripp’s medical condition and his Mother’s faith has changed my life. I would like to donate some items to help complete his scrapbook, including a 12x12 Creative Memories scrapbook and the pages. I will also include some special decorated pages. I am going to use some special artwork (My kids own designs and some of mine). I would also like to offer a 30% discount to anyone who wants to purchase scrapbooking supplies to make pages for Tripp’s Scrapbook. Send me a message and I will get you the items. My email address is kzapalac@entertainment.com. Or you can contact me thru facebook. God bless Tripp and his family. I hope together we can create a scrapbook they will always cherish……if EVERYONE does a little, we can ALL do a lot. My family and I will be praying for Tripp and his family every day. Kim Zapalac "

Thankful for my crafts blog hop

Welcome to Thankful for my craft blog hop hosted by my very dear friend Alina from Addicted to Scrapbooking. You should be coming from her blog if not make sure to start there. There are so many reasons why I'm Thankful for my craft but I will keep this short. I got into to scrapbooking in 2001 a little after I had my beautiful baby girl. I had went to my local photo store to develop pictures and walked the small shopping center while I waited. That's when I found a small scrapbook store and feel in love with everything I saw. I was like a kid in a candy store, so much so that they gave me a job 3 months later. I have to say that was one of the BEST jobs so far (it closed 3 years later). I always said that I would never get into card making, well in 2009 I ate my words and in 2010 I meet Paula from More Than Favors who encouraged me to start my own blog. I love seeing the family looking at my scrapbooks and taking them back to memory lane. I am also Thankful for all the great and talented crafters that I have meet and some who have become really great friends. On this note I leave you with some my old scrapbook pages. I have not done a scrap page in over a year. Not good for someone who is ten years behind. Thank You for coming by my blog and hope you all have a great weekend:)  P.S sorry this was not as short as I said it would be:( Your next blog hop is  Jen from  www.jenscraftcorner.com
