Always Thinking About You!

Hi! I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend.

Today I would like to share a pocket card I made for a challenge over at My Creative Time blog. You can click HERE for more info about the MCT challenge.

I went with the colors for inspiration on making my project. I really like the way it turned out and think this would make a perfect card to send to someone special during the fall season (my mom). We don't live in the same state and I miss her like crazy but even more during the Holiday season. Well enough of that and now on to my pocket card.

I used the MCT Tag Dies on the flap of the fold down card as well for the pull out tag. I added some multi color embroidery thread to the fold down flap before gluing it down and inked the edges with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink. The always is stamped from part of a sentiment in the MCT Treasured Moments Stamp Set.
For the MCT Tag Die I used Tim Holtz mowed lawn distress ink around the edges. I cut half a piece of the  MCT Curly Label Die for the bottom right on the tag and inked it with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink. For the sentiment on the tag I used parts of two different sentiments from the MCT Bracket Sentiments Stamp Set. To finish of the tag I added some sequence and black ribbon.

What I used:

MCT Tag Dies
MCT Treasured Moments Stamp Set.
 MCT Curly Label Die
MCT Bracket Sentiments Stamp Set.
Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink
Tim Holtz mowed lawn distress ink
Multi Color Embroidery Thread
Sequence
Black Ribbon

Are You Serious

Hi!

I hope you are all doing well. Today I would like to share a quick card I made for Emma's color challenge over at My Creative Time blog. The card base is an A2 and the printed matted paper is from My Mind's Eye "Quite Contrary" paper pack. For the center of the card I used MCT Stitched Journal Die along with MCT Stitched Bracket Dies and coordinating stamps. I used Versamark and black embossing powder for the Stitched Bracket coordinating stamp. Than I used watercolor paint to color a few of the arrows. The sentiment is from MCT Bracket Sentiments stamp set and I stamped it with Tim Holtz peacock feathers. I used Heidi Swapp color shine sprays (shh.... I made a BIG mess with theme) and added some sequins.

Crabulous Birthday

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Today I would like to share with you a  A2 size card I made using PPPR "Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files" as the card base. The super cute little lobster is from PPPR "Little Lobster Cutting Files" and I actually made the polaroid cut with my cameo (I'm a over thinker). Before gluing the cute little lobster together I inked each piece with  Tim Holtz Festive Berries distress ink. Part of the sentiment (Have a crabulous) is from Pretty Cute Moody Crabs stamps, and the BIRTHDAY sentiment is from Pink By Design Birthday Birthday stamp set. I totally love the way this card came out and it reminds me so much of my hubby who love's lobsters.

I decided to stamp the face of the little girl with Peachy Keen "Princess Face Assortment and used chalk for her cheeks. The gold sequins are from the Micheal's. The sentiment is from Pink By Design "Say it Sweet" stamp set. I was able to fit six Ferrero Rocher chocolates in this cute little box.
