Celebrate

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Today, I would like to share with you a super yummy card I made for my DT post over at PPPR using the New PPPR Happy Hour Cutting Files. I'm totally loving this file! My hubby walked in the room while I was making this and said, mmm... I could go for one of those it's so hot outside. Lol...

The base of the card will fit into a regular size letter envelop. I used the last image in the second row from left to right in the Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files for the printed paper (I cut off some of the top and bottom), and used the offset button in the silhouette cameo for the white piece of paper.  The strawberry daiquiri is from  PPPR Happy Hour Cutting Files. I added some Glossy Accents to the glass part of the cup as well as the nose, tongue, little bubbles and the strawberry.  For the silly face I used Peachy Keen Happy New Year Stamp set. The sentiment is from PBD "Scripted Year" stamp set I stamped it on one of the images from  Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files. To finish the card off I added some twine, sequins and used my VersaMarker to outline the strawberry daiquiri part of the drink. I think this will make a great summer birthday card.

If you're coming here from Brianna's blog than you're in the right place.

For my first project I used  PPPR Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files to make the base of the card and the green piece of paper that the Teddy Bear is on. The cute little Teddy Bear is from PPPR Santa's Helpers Cutting Files. The "Welcome Little one" sentiment is from Pink By Design "Baby Love" stamp set and it's stamped on one of the images from PPPR Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files. I added some black stitching, yellow stickles and sequins for some detail. I also added glossy accents to the eyes. The inside sentiment is from Pink By Design "Bear Hugs" stamp set.

This is how I make my shape cards. I put the two shape next to each other but not over lapping. Than I make rectangle shape just big enough to go over both pieces of paper, and after that I weld all three pieces together. I did this for both of my cards.

For my second project I used PPPR Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files to make the base of the card and the two mat pieces as well. The Cigar is from PPPR Old Chap Cutting Files and I added glossy accents to the label on the cigar . The stamp mustache is from Pink By Design "Mustaches" stamp set as well as the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment using VersaMark and white embossing powder. The banner is from Pink by Design "Small Banner" stamp set. Finally I did some white stitching.
