PPPR ~ Shiver Me Timbers Blog Hop

Hi everyone!
Thank You for joining us for the PPPR Shiver Me Timbers Blog Hop

Make sure you start the blog hop at the beginning over at Lisa's blog HERE if you just happen to be passing by. You won't want to miss any of the Wonderful Smarty Pants projects using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files. If you're coming here from Shannon blog than you're in the right place.

For my project I used PPPR Treasure Chest Card Cutting Files which is this weeks freebie and I'm so loving it. I had some white velcro that I decided to use to close the card (to bad I didn't have it in black). The cute little pirate girl is from the PPPR Little Pirates Cutting Files. The sand, seashell and starfish are from the PPPR  Mermaids Cutting Files.  I used chalk for the edges of the sand and glossy accents on her boots.

 What I used:

Peachy Keen In the Garden Face Assortment
Pink By Design Pirate Life stamp set
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Spiced Mermalade Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Pumice Stone Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry Distress Ink
VersaMark Ink Pad
Black Embossing Powder
Yellow Stickles
Chalk
Velcro

Blog candy hop.

For a chance to win, you must be a follower of each blog and leave a comment on each blog. 8. Awesome card. Adding the velcro to the inside top of the card gives it a 3D effect and make the card look like a rounded treasure chest. Love all the small details and that cute mermaid.
