Altered Composition Book

Hi Everyone! I hope your all doing well.
All is good on my side, I just  been busy with life.

It's nice to be here today sharing with you a composition notebook that I altered for my daughter.
She'll be using this to write down her homework thought the year. She's in seventh grade so I didn't want to make it to girly, plus she's not into over the top girly stuff.

I will also be entering this in the Ink it Pink challenge that is going on now till noon Tuesday August 28th. The challenge is to incorporate any school supplies on a project.

I traced the composition notebook on the printed paper.

Than applied a thin layer of  Mod Podge (matte-mat) to glue the paper onto the notebook.

I used my cricut scraper tool to take out any air bubbles.

Than I inked up the edges with Memento London Fog ink.

Before gluing down the purple piece of paper I glued down a  piece of ribbon to use as a bookmark.

I used red sticky tape to adhered down the black piece of ribbon on the front and back of the notebook.

I used the long banner from the PBD "Everyday Banner" stamp set and cut them to fit each sentiment. What's up and Really sentiment are from the PBD "Attitude" stamp set. The oh, Snap sentiment is from PBD "Crikey" stamp set. Thank I inked them edges with Tim Holtz Dusty Concord Distress Ink.
