Good Morning! I hope that everyone is doing well and ready for another Wacky Wednesday challenge over at More Than Favors. For this WW we are going with anything Thanksgiving. I'm also going to enter this in the Cameo Creations Thanksgiving challenge going on now HERE.

For my project I used my cameo and went with a Thanksgiving banner for a little home decor. I'm loving PPPR Acorn Faces Cutting Files. If you hurry you can still get the Acorn Faces file for free till Thursday the 15th. I used Cuttlebug Tiny Mosaic embossing folder for the top of the Acorn. For the banner I used PPPR Simple Banner Shapes Cutting Files and just added some holes on the top to run the ribbon through. I embossed the banner with Cuttlebug Divine Swirl embossing folder and inked it with Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade and Rusty Hinge Distress Ink. The paper I used for the rosettes or from DCVW Amber Autumn value pack and Amber Autumn premium stacks. For the circles on the rosettes I embossed them with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and inked the edges with Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade distress ink. The font if from my computer I just can't remember the name of it. The brown ribbon the is from the dollar store.

In everything give Thanks

Good Morning and Happy hump day! I hope the week is going well for everyone. Today I would like to share a card I made with a technique called Acrylic Block Collage for PBD.
Using stamp pads ink up an acrylic block, beginning with the lightest color and moving to the darkest. I choose to use Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade and Crushed Olive distress ink. Spritz the block with water and immediately stamp onto cardstock. I used Ranger Mini mister to spray the water. I sprayed the water from a distance because I didn't want to have big  water circles. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the stamped  block. Before stamping I masked the areas that I didn't want to stamp as well as in the center of the card where my PBD sentiment was going.

Than I got my PBD Script background stamp, inked the top half with Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge distress ink and inked the bottom half with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint distress ink. I than removed all the sticky notes and stamped my sentiment with PBD Bountiful stamp set and PBD Big Thoughts stamp set. I also used a left stamp that is on PBD Simply Everything stamp set.
I used an ink dabber to ink my edage of the card with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain distress ink. I really like the simplicity  of this card. Thank You for stopping by and make sure to head on over to Pink By Design blog  HERE to see the other projects that were made with this technique.
I hope you give this technique a try and don't forget that the Ink It Pink challenge is going on right now. Come and play along with us HERE.

Color Chanllenge

Good Morning Everyone! I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. Today I would like to share a project I made for Pink By Design color challenge going on now. You will have one week to come on play along with us.

Here is my project.

Here is the color palette.

I made a fall wreath for inside the house. I'm super happy with the way my wreath came out. This is my first time making one.The foam wreath is from the Target dollar section.  I cut the burlap into strips about 1 1/2 wide and started wrapping my wreath. I used hot glue for the burlap.
For the scarecrow I used the  PPPR Fall Festival Cutting Files and altered the face for a Mickey face with my cameo. The pumkins are a mix of two files. One file from the silhouette cameo and the other from PPPR First Thanksgiving Cutting Files. I used Tim Holtz Distress inks on my pumpkins before gluing them. For the leafs I used Cricut A Child's Year cart. I used a zig marker to draw in the lines on the leafs and some Tim Holtz Distress inks. To make my leafs stand out I used my stylus to curl them. For the sentiment I used Pink By Design Simply Everything stamp set along with Everyday Banners stamp set.

Once everything everything was inked, glued and curled I added everything to my wreath.

Thank You for stopping by and I hope your able to come and play along with us in our color challenge HERE.

What I used:
