Today I would like to share a pocket card I made for a challenge over at My Creative Time blog. You can click HERE for more info about the MCT challenge.
I went with the colors for inspiration on making my project. I really like the way it turned out and think this would make a perfect card to send to someone special during the fall season (my mom). We don't live in the same state and I miss her like crazy but even more during the Holiday season. Well enough of that and now on to my pocket card.
I used the MCT Tag Dies on the flap of the fold down card as well for the pull out tag. I added some multi color embroidery thread to the fold down flap before gluing it down and inked the edges with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink. The always is stamped from part of a sentiment in the MCT Treasured Moments Stamp Set.
For the MCT Tag Die I used Tim Holtz mowed lawn distress ink around the edges. I cut half a piece of the MCT Curly Label Die for the bottom right on the tag and inked it with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink. For the sentiment on the tag I used parts of two different sentiments from the MCT Bracket Sentiments Stamp Set. To finish of the tag I added some sequence and black ribbon.
