Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch #385

This weeks challenge #385 over at Die Cuttin' Divas is a Sketch
and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

I made an A2 size Baby Shower card for my husbands co-worker. The rattle is from Cricut Sugar and Spice cartridge and I removed the little ducky it had on it as well as a strip that was behind the scalloped circle. I used the Mickey Mouse face silhouette from Cricut Mickey Font cartridge and than I added the Minnie Mouse bow which is from Cricut Mickey and Friends cartridge and went over it with a clear Wink of Stella.
I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry Distress Ink.
The sentiment is from Pink By Design "Baby Love" stamp set. I embossed one of the white pieces of paper with Cuttelbug Love Language embossing folder and added two little Mickey heads.

Don't forget you have until Monday September 10th to play along.

Die Cuttin' Divas Under The Sea Challenge

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!

This weeks challenge #327 over at Die Cuttin' Divas is Under The Sea theme and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.

I have a few under the water projects that I made for a Baby Shower.
For the centerpieces I used both my cricut as well as my cameo. The base of the centerpiece took the most time but it was total worth it for I feel it really makes it pop. I used skewers in the center to hold up the Baby Boy circle and glued the sea animals onto to the circle so that there wouldn't be to many sticks.  For the seaweed I used my bone folder to curl paper. The letters on the banner are from a font on my computer and the sea animals are from Cricut Create A Critter.
The Award Ribbon is from the the dollar store but I covered the circle so that it would  match the theme of the Baby Shower.

Files I used:
Cameo ~ 'baby boy' circle title (Design #30432)
Cameo ~ 3d giant flower center (Design #194449)
Cameo ~ 3d rolled spiral flower (Design #28477)

Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!

This weeks challenge #324 over at Die Cuttin' Divas is a sketch challenge and we sure hope you can play along with us HERE.
For my project I went with a Baby Shower theme card and the cute little baby is from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon ~ Changing Time cut file. The sentiment is from My Creative Time "Chocolate Greetings" stamp set and for the banner I just cut that by hand. The little hearts I found in my stash of die cuts that I have cut from other projects but didn't use. I inked the baby girls bow with Tim Holtz Distress ink.

PPPR ~ Baby Shower Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

Thank You for joining us for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons "Baby Shower" Blog Hop.

Make sure you start the blog hop at the beginning over at Lisa's blog HERE if you just happen to be passing by. You don't want to miss all the wonderful and super cute "Just for Kids" projects that were made using PPPR files. If you're coming here from Brianna's blog than you're in the right place.

For my first project I used  PPPR Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files to make the base of the card and the green piece of paper that the Teddy Bear is on. The cute little Teddy Bear is from PPPR Santa's Helpers Cutting Files. The "Welcome Little one" sentiment is from Pink By Design "Baby Love" stamp set and it's stamped on one of the images from PPPR Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files. I added some black stitching, yellow stickles and sequins for some detail. I also added glossy accents to the eyes. The inside sentiment is from Pink By Design "Bear Hugs" stamp set.

This is how I make my shape cards. I put the two shape next to each other but not over lapping. Than I make rectangle shape just big enough to go over both pieces of paper, and after that I weld all three pieces together. I did this for both of my cards.

For my second project I used PPPR Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files to make the base of the card and the two mat pieces as well. The Cigar is from PPPR Old Chap Cutting Files and I added glossy accents to the label on the cigar . The stamp mustache is from Pink By Design "Mustaches" stamp set as well as the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment using VersaMark and white embossing powder. The banner is from Pink by Design "Small Banner" stamp set. Finally I did some white stitching.

What I used:
Pink By Design "Baby Love" stamp set
Pink By Design "Bear Hugs" stamp set
Glossy Accents
Yellow Stickles
Sequins
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Tim Holtz Shabby Shutters Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink
