1st Birthday

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Today is my day to post over at Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon and  I hope everyone is doing well.

For my project today I made a Birthday card for my nephew who will be turning one next week.
The card base is a A2 size and that adorable little monkey as well as the balloons are from  PPPR Birthday Critters Cutting Files. I used a Versa Marker to outline the dark parts of the monkey and inked up the edges of the number one and the balloons with some Tim Holtz Distress Ink. For some added detail I went around the card base and number with a black sharpie marker and a white gel pen for the party hat and balloons.

What I used:
Pretty Cute "Wish Big" Stamp Set
Versa Marker
Heidi Swapp Black Velvet Color Shine
Tim Holtz tea dye Distress Ink
Tim Holtz mustard seed Distress Ink
Tim Holtz mowed lawn Distress Ink
Tim Holtz faded jeans Distress Ink

We  have a PPPR Go Green Challenge going on now till  Friday, May 8, 2015 For more info click HERE.

Thank You for stopping by and hope you have a great day!

PPPR Go Green Blog Hop

Hi everyone!
Thank You for joining us for the PPPR Go Green blog hop.

Make sure you start the blog hop at the beginning over at Lisa's blog HERE if you just happen to be passing by. You won't want to miss any of the Wonderful Go Green projects using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files. If you're coming here from Shannon blog than you're in the right place.

For my project I made a 5X5 size card that would be great to send to someone who goes out of her way to go green and recycle. So when I saw the "You're Tree-rific" sentiment in my Pink By Design stash I new it would be prefect. I stamped the sentiment on the wooden sign from the PPPR "Gnomies Cutting Files".  I used the tree from PPPR  Forest Critters Cutting Files, embossed the trunk of the tree with Cuttlebug Distress Stripes Embossing Folder and used some red sequins as apples. The cool little Fungi is from PPPR Fungi Cutting Files and I added some Glossy Accents to the sunglasses. The Sun is from PPPR  Day at the Beach Cutting Files and the grass cut file is from PPPR "Gnomies Cutting Files".

 What I used:

Sequins
Glossy Accents
Yellow Stickles
Pink By Design "Go Green" Stamp Set
Recollections Mini Butterfly Punch
Tim Holtz Distress Tool
Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Mustard Seed Distress Ink
Tim Holtz  Mowed Lawn Distress Ink
Cuttlebug Distress Stripes Embossing Folder
